Virgin Kiss There is a land beyond the living and the dead, a place where demons nest; Salanior. Each and every race must live for the better of their kind, but it proves to be quite difficult considering their races. The bloodsucking, the dead and the living. The Vampiric, devided. The Wraith is few left to feed off. The mortals struggle to live, so they call for their breathren of all the lands, to come forward and stand against the demons. Then there are the half casts, creatures of neither beings, banished from all races, forced to live the world in non-accepted souls. A free-form fantasy horse RPG where so far only three races live but... this is fantasy right? Anything can happen!
Vampires Vampires are considered the rarest beauties. Dark and Wise but also weak and easily destroyed. Converted: 10	Wraiths The creatures that rise from their deaths. Fiery, simple and one of the strongest races. Decaying: 3	Mortals Horses that have neither died nor been altered. Pure and Free, the last great blood of life. Purities: 5

The beginning of something new?

Slight framed minx walked through the lands calmly lifting her head to scent the wind. She was slightly puzzled. There was no sign of another horse. A loud snort erupted from her ashen muzzle as she continued to explore. Mayhaps she was simply in the wrong part of the terra? Her ebon banner flicked gently swatting her sides. Her gaze searched the sky seeking the time of day, seemed like it was a little after mid-day. That was good. Gave her plenty of time to find shelter for the night. Well, she liked the looks of the terra so she would stay, as lead mare it seemed since there was nobody else here. A soft sigh escaped from her muzzle. She would get lonely quickly. Hopefully someone else would wander in shortly.
Storm grey fae soon eased into an easy jog to scout out the rest of the land before nightfall. She wasn't scared of vampires exactly, rather, she was scared of dieing. See there was a difference. Why wasn't she scared of wraiths? Well, she had never really had an encounter with them and really didn't think they existed. So she was a little naive? Weren't many mares? Especially some arabic faes like her? She glanced over her shoulder to see what time of day it was now and gasped. Had she zoned or something? It was nearing to twilight and she had yet to find a place to dwell for the night. Her gait picked up into a smooth lope as her keen gaze sought out a resting place. She was worried about this simply because she was alone. She was easy prey for anything that came and found here out here.
She strayed to a halt spotting a dense thicket of pine trees. Well, their scent would mask her's and it looked almost impenetrable. She smiled slightly. It would do nicely if she could get in. She circled the thicket a couple times always staying in the grassiest parts so that her hooves wouldn't leave any tell-tale marks that someone or something was within. Her keen eyes caught sight of a small gap on her second circuit. She walked towards it calmly, her ears flicking back and forth on top of her elegant skull. She stuck her head through first before her frame followed carefully. She turned slightly so that she could watch entrance closely. She could only hope that the entrance wouldn't be noticeable once darkness truly fell. She relaxed slightly, her head lowering and one hind-stilt relaxed shifting her weight forward. Her ears relaxed simply sitting there though occasionally flopping when she shook her head with a soft snort. Her ebon tail would occasionally flick over her rumps at the insects coasting over her pelt. She soon settled to silence and waited patiently for the rising of the sun. She drifted into a peaceful sleep though she still remained standing. Laying down to sleep was not good, it made her much to easy a prey. She could only hope that nobody or rather, nothing would disturb her peacefulness, or at least during the night.

I knew I could smell something. It was hard to catch it, but it was there, hanging in the air. It was a mare. Ooh. I thought, easy prey. Why she was alone I cold only guess. But it made it all the easier for me. I followed the scent and it led me to dense thicket of pine trees. The scent faded a little when I came close, because of the pine, but I knew she was close. Probably inside the thickets I guessed. I circled it, looking for the entrance, because sh had hidden her tracks to well. But I quickly found it and hurried inside, hoping she was asleep. I bursted through the trees and saw her standing there, fast asleep, but not for long...

Slims ears shifted atop her tiara catching the soft sounds as if something was shifting outside her copse. Diru slowly awakened though kept her posture so as not to give away any tell-tale signs. Something was out there, what, she didn't quite know. Yet at least. She cast a swift skyward glance and gulped slightly. It was basically the middle of the night, that had to mean vampire.
Her head jerked high hearing the crackling of bushes and seeing a dark form burst into her thicket. She took a deep breath hoping dearly that it would be a mare. She had heard they backed down quicker, more than likely though that was to the studs of their species, not something they saw as prey.
Forequarters rose off the ground in a rear with limbs lashing for mere protection as she gave voice to a fierce scream. Fine-boned mortal mare she may be, she wasn't taking any chances. She would not give up without a fight. The moment her forehooves touched the ground she was back up. Once she felt that she had her point across she sidled towards the entrance while one foreleg was constantly pawing, giving the impression that she was almost dancing. She stood with her rump in the entrance and stared at the form.
"What do you want with me besides my blood?" She asked calmly. She was only seemingly calm because with a quick whirl she'd be on her way running her heart out and resting in the day. Simple as that.

((sorry about the wait and the crappy post v.v having some problems in real-life and all that good crap v.v it should pick up soon though))

"You're a brave mortal" I stated after her dance o fury. This mare could have tasty blood in her... I thaught. My eyes searched her body in the pitch black, becoming a glowing red to improve my night sight. Now I could see every detail on her body, every twitch of fear and every movement of alarm. I pinned my ears back and lashed forward, but didn't touch her. "May I remind you who has the upper tallon here? I do! So unless you're really foolish, you'll run. Besides, you look to scrufffy to bite. I only want to settle something with you." I stated camly. I kept my eyes on her and gave a step forward, deeply tempted to lash out and bite. I gave another step and saw her tremble with fear. I had to act fast...

Her slim harks tipped forward slightly. Settle what? She snorted loudly as the other moved. Her boa was arched and one forehoof flew out in a warning. Her haunches bunched as she whirled and let out at a gallop with her hinds flying. That creature had drawn too close to her. She trotted a little distance away and halted. Her boa turned facing the entrance to her enclosure. Her ebon tail flicked wildly over her haunches. "Only until the coming of darling, then who will have the advantage?" She called out as her small frame turned completely around. "So what do you want with me.?" She asked again knowing it wouldn't be long before the other had followed after her. She could deal with vampiric equines, just she had to have some room to stretch out her legs. And trust me, when she did get to stretching those limbs, almost nothing could catch her.

I wasn't far behind and slid to a stop not too far from diru... "ok relax. I just want to talk" I looked her way but could see she wasn't trusting me. I mean what is there to trust about me? "I have heard tales about this terra that i think you'd be interested in... After all I think you should know what you're getting yourself into" I gave a step back, trying to be modest. My last fight had been horrific. It had been with a demon and the scorch marks still burned on my side. I had lost so badly that even my pride was scortched...
