into darkness you are lead
by the lord of bloodshed

forehooves slung out over the stone crypt, the grave of an upright walker. their species has since been lost, pity, their blood could serve as good food. by the amount of graves and cemetarys found by these creatures, they came in a great many. black as night beast, watched the vampires shuffle and sleep. daylight was not safe to wander the lands. Four vampires had no returned. Fools are lost to us now, I will not lose another bloodline. mist of breath broke the air, vibrant blue eyes scanned the home. next day he will sleep with the vampires of blood crypt, watch what they are up to, punish those in need of it. ahh the life of a lord, carries many loves in life.

vision locked on and narrowed on certain objects, fanged teeth grinded. the silence beast was in thought. every muscle was tense and every sense alert. daylight was when hunters would come into their lairs, he wondered if one was outside now. one thing they would know is the lord of blood himself was resting in this vampire home. his teeth were stained the crimson which he feeds on. slowly he began a catlike rise from the burial, long legs nestled gently on the ground, graceful as a swan. he stood proudly, the shadows concealing his lifeless features.

“the silence can be defining at times no?” a stranger immerged from the depths of the darks over shadowed by large trees shading even from the dullness of the moon it self, thought not much scared Azoic she was still always on toe sure that every creature was out to get her.

Like a snake she slipped her sleek pink tongue to the side of her parched lip gently wiping it over one sharpened tooth before doing the same to the other side a gently ruffling escaping her deflated nostrils.

“Why do wander alone, for sure some one like you would have one by your side?” Azonic still unsure of the one that stood before her, her muscles bunched and relaxed to the rhythm of a heart beat if she still had one.

But she could not help to notice the fine slender of the one before her but made no attempt to advance forward only lurking just out side the pit of darkness, of the tree.

carved ears twitched in her direction before she had arrived but the regal head did not follow he had non to fear. her words broke the silence, which was good because he enjoyed bold company. His own voice replied "yes. silence is beautiful." his melody was smoothly cold and beautifully artistic. her question did not faze him in the slightest, infact her curled his lips into a smirk at it. his laughing grumbled from the chest passing his teeth like the devils words do "I like it alone. tell me, why do you hide?" it was not to be rude or to start an arguement, he had no quarrel with any vampire, unless they challenged himself. "such a lovely voice and yet I see no body to match..." smoooth. he was just playfully teasing now. how indeed he loved a good game of cat and ... cat?

“Alone can be a very lonely place to be, I should know I have done so for many years now” she pitted the horse before her, it seamed to be missing something that so did she.

“Who would want to see me? For my hind does not pose that of beauty with age only of ugliness” Azonic was not trying to make him feel sympathy for her, nor did she want him to tell her that no horse could possibly be ugly though she felt deep down something along those lines would occur if not then that was the way it was meant to be.

Taking a bold step from the confines of dark she emerged into the night her two tone coat uncommon among others, her ears too small for her head and a jagged blaze ran down her face like a river of water sliding down a mountain side.

onyx hooves shifted dirt on the ground, lowering his muzzle towards his work. her words were heard but at first ignored, he sensed something but what could the dirt tell him? old vampires were very sensitive and that did not escape the great beast. small earthly vibrations would be felt, but for now. there was nothing. his senses still tingled so he did not ignore it just put it to the back of him mind. "sometimes you are better off alone. the wind is your company. it will never betray you and it brings news whenever it is near" these words must really come from a sorryful loner, for only one of those would say the wind is both his friend and mate. the lord raised a heavy head in her direction, watching as her form unfolded before him.

a moment oif silence went by while he studied her form. he must have admit she was a bit out of proportion but in no way ugly. no vampire is ugly. that was one of his firm beliefs that he would stick by through thick and thin. "abnormalties are not a sign of bad looks but a show of great courage, wit and a yearn to live." his husky voice cooed gently, the day was quiet and it had no need for a booming voice. metallic eyes became a vibrant purple. danger wandered nearer. he could sense the form watching. forehooves curled beneath the powerful form and turned his body to face perfectly the direction of their spying foe. nostrils flared his breathing heavy and cold, a mist escaped while deadly fangs lengthened threateningly. beasts coal hued rump faced the mare. awaiting the approach or the flee of the mystery horse.

OOC: sorry for taking forever, I decided to add some excitement :P

Azonic watched only with eyes, as he pawed his hoof into the soft crust of the earths surface, almost transfixed on what he was doing he almost made it look like a dance. Her ears relaxed slightly and her head drooped, flicking her tail to her side she jumped at the own feel of her harsh whip like tail as it tapped her side, looking back to the stallion she felt stupid for her own stupidity.

Words could not say how this horse made her feel taking another bold step toward him she spoke “My name is Azonic” she tried to say as boldly as possible “you seam to know words of wisdom that many do not know” Holding back the urge to reach out and gently caress his mane under her dried lips. Though she didn’t need to hold back as the horse spun on h is quarters leaving her to look at his tail, Azonic did not realize the danger she was always oblivious to it that is why she choose to hid most of the time but she did not know weather to hide back under the tree of stay behind the horse before her. Red eyes almost twinkling she looked in to the same direction that the horse was, ears alert muscles tense in case she would need to run to hide.

a low grumbling growl escaped velvetine lips, convex nose raised higher, taking in the others scent. he knew it. it was a demon hunter. an experienced on too, Tristram his name was. coming from a long line of hunters. slowly a red hued horse came into view. he was build like a rock, a heavy breton horse. he surely had the upperhand on strength and the time of day was perfect... sunlight. which meant the vampires had very few places to run. slender ears fell back, lip rolled up, revealing his teeth and the deathly fangs. the hunters voice rolled over the air 'lord of blood, we meet again' (cool music plays in background) Cruor took an elegant step forward, his head extended down low, ready to strike up high. lips parted for words half whispered 'so it would seem, you would make a good vampire you know' long black mane cascades with a shake of his head. the large steed laughed. one could tell he was not a fool.

Cruors voice cooed but he did not face her 'hide back into darkness Azonic this is no place for a vampress' it was clear he was suggesting a battle may take place. so far cruor had defeated tristram numerous times, and always got a decent feed, he also always left the beast alive. why? because he was cruel. when alive he could dwell on his defeats, when dead he is free. iron cast hooves cut brutally into soil. he stood before the great beast. 'it would seem you are offering to recieve another beating... I accept that offer' without any further bantering, both steeds seem to have the same idea and they lashed at each other. it only took seconds but that was more than enough time for Tristram to tear cruors mane from its neck. unlucky for the vampire lord, his teeth missed their hold onto the bretons chest. like the snake that strikes and misses, his head recoiled. Cruor twisted his head and neck abnormally and took his chance with the throat., hoping the angle would twist away from an attack. but it didn't.

the hunters leg clip his jaw and came down between his eyes. the large black fell to knees. he was strong and wise, and near unbeatable but he was still mortal in some ways. cruor was taken by blackness, his thoughts too dizy to understand. Tristram now remembered the young vampress that was there. he knew he would not have much time, cruor would heal and regain his control very quickly. 'come out, come out, little vampire mare' his words were cold and playful, she should be easy to defeat considering how quickly he put Cruor in a daze. it was obvious the breton had faced Cruor in battles many times, and in each time he had learnt a way to defeat Cruor. but each new way he came up with, Cruor had a new trick. and Tristram failed. not this time, he would outsmart him. he used a technique that failed before, because he knew Cruor shouldn't think to use it again. he was right. daylight was clearly beyong the thick foilage and the crypt was fast asleep in its lights. this vampress had three choices, run and awake the others, chances they will lose half the herd. she could fightbreton and fail miserably or she can run into the sunlight and kill herself. no pretty choices indeed. Cruor now was just getting up onto his legs, his eyes aglow with new found strength. he was outsmarted... never again.

As the dark creature emerged from the shadows, she began to back into the shadows only too fail in her attempt, a rock rolled from under her body she stoped for a second her eyes tightly closed hoping that this other horse tristram if that his name would not hear it .

Saying her head gently, she flicked her ears back and forth, why was she always the one to hide, but I think this was not the time to show if she was strong at the moment this horse meant business and she should take her advantage to hide.

“Why does he not just kill him and be done with it?” Azonic half whispered to her self, half said out loud “It would make it a better place for all vampires” her two tone coat now blended in with the dark she stood and watched on, some how she wished Cruor to win, but it seamed too not be the case as he sank to his knees. Azonic was horrified Cruor seemed so strong and powerful how could he be defeated so simply.

Rearing on her hind legs she twisted her head up tucking it under her chin till it touched her throat, dancing a step to the side her ears pinned to her skull he could not take Cruor, not now not ever.

Come out was he stupid!? As if! “What makes you think that I am that stupid to come forth, for it obvious that you are the more powerful of the two of us no?” Azonic was not a fighter to such things that where twice her height and weight knocking over Cruor like he was a drop of warm blood. Though she still walked out into the light to face him, the hard sun was rising to the east its bloody glow shining Azonic would have to make her decision and soon what her cause of action would be to take.

Her e weg o rou n d the m ul lberr y bus h

'er pulse was thick as blood ran through 'er veins, white wench made
'er way through the tree's. Slithering by like a snake, keeping 'er
head and keeping it low. Maw grazed the ground, the rotten grass
tips tickled 'er lips, tongue swiped across their dry surface. Picking up
the faint taste of blood, the last of 'er earlier meal. 'E curled back
'er lips and let loose a snarl as 'e suddenly halted. Before 'er
black voids went on a battle. A vampire slayer, 'e struck the ground,
a black stag and a vampress. 'E glowered down at them from
the shadows. Gauntlets flashed as 'e slowly made her way down the
rocky hillside.
'Er massive frame came to a rest next to the scared vampress.
Lips peeled back from 'er teeth as she glared at the hunter. 'E
came nearer and nearer only making both mares nervous. 'Er heartbeat thrummed and her lungs failed in bringing air into 'er lungs.
Fear was washing through her body, pupils dilated and a squeal
rent the air as a large patch of sunlight bruised through the dead
leaves. 'E reeled back and threw 'erself at the shadows. Looking
back to see if the other was doing the same, 'e glance back at her
twin. Alabaster hide glowed like a lantern in the cool shade, but 'e
ignored that and came to the side of the mare again, slinking along next to the tree's.
Snarl bubbled from 'er throat as she nipped the mare upon the
blades Get out of the way..he needs room to battle Lyrics
went up into the atmosphere like a haunting melody, the sudden silence
after that was welcomed. 'E turned to look at the wench, waiting
for her to make a move.

Lips twitched as Azonic spun her pale body away from the witch who now stood to her side darting into a ray of light. snorting with discust for both light and this other thing that stood before her "WHO gives you the right to touch your foul mouth upon my hind and demand i deceis from your presence" stamping a front fore to make sure her point had been taken. "this is nore the place or time the sun is rising and Cruor needs to be removed before the sun reaches his hide" lookng back to where Cruor and foe stood nothing could be done but Azonic would deal with this witch when the sun set.

((sorry so short))
